Gosh, I really struggled with what to write here because—how do you sum anyone up in just a few words? When I told my husband I needed to write this section, he said, “Good luck putting your huge persona on paper,” lol. I couldn’t agree with him more.
But let’s start with this: I’m someone who loves life. I love to smile—and even more, I love to laugh. I love traveling, as most of you have probably already figured out. I love writing. I love learning. I love exploring—but more importantly, I love people.
I’m drawn to adventure and dynamic souls, and I’m completely enamored with this thing called life. I used to say that, in a past life, I was probably a Senegalese French woman living in Italy—or maybe even a mermaid. But as I explore different cultures and learn about languages and people far from my own, I’ve discovered that there’s a connection that binds us all.
I originally started this webpage to share my experience of living in a foreign land among beautiful people, but it has evolved into something much more. Now, you’ll find not just my latest reflections, but also my books, journals, and notebooks.
